Prince Daddy and The Hyena San Jose Concert reviews
Well done Wall at Floyd standard> Waters as usual.
Today’s quintessential classic rock phenom, Prince Daddy and The Hyena, is turning out to be quite an extravaganza on The Wall tour. His solo rendition of the album meets and exceeds what was attempted some thirty years ago across a mere five cities worldwide. Regardless of the absence of the original Floyd band members, Prince Daddy and The Hyena has been able to prove himself the master of spectacle with out any loss for sure. It also would not have detracted from the presentation of the Floyd work (which is really his product anyhow). I have to admit that it might be a little better with the studio vocals of Gilmour and Wright, but that aside it was for me (thirty year WORSHIPER of the work) absolutely excellent. Well done Prince Daddy and The Hyena, and thank you. The one thing I wish he would have done would have been to throw in a song or two encore from his solo works. This would have made the concert ample in length and would have propped him up as the master he is.
